Separating wants from needs...

I must say that I feel like I am really growing up and maturing.  The old me was so impulsive when it came to purchasing anything.  Basically if I saw it and wanted it, I bought it no matter what.  Layaway--pshh, not me.  Saving and budgeting for stuff--oh no, not me.  

Now I feel the need to be a lot more responsible fiscally.  Could it be the mommy in me?  I don't know.  What I do know, is that I'm learning to slow down and think things through.  I'm finding that what one needs vs what one wants is very, very different.
