I am a married mom of two: a one-year-old boy and five-year-old girl. I work as an on-call nurse so that I can be home with my kids as much as possible. I really like to watch sports, especially basketball and football (American).
I love to cook and to experiment with different food ideas--and share those with my family and friends. My other loves are shopping, traveling, reading, and volunteering my time to help others.
I have always had a love of writing. In elementary school, I would write short stories for my classmates to read, and they would beg me to write more. For me this blog is a passion and natural progression from that early experience with writing.
I'm a laid back, easy-going soul. My personal motto is "live so as to have no regrets" and I'm trying to do just that.
